Which WARDOGS achievements are rare?

All ten WARDOGS achievements with Valve's own global unlock rates, the two official readings that disagree, and what an unlock rate does not measure.

THE QUICK ANSWER

WARDOGS ships ten Steam achievements. 77.2% of owners have completed the tutorial for This is WARDOGS; 0.1% have Big Spender, which wants $100,000 spent on a single loadout. These are global unlock rates read from Valve on 21 September 2026 at 13:02 UTC — they move daily, and the date on this page is the date they were read.

Who actually has these?

Valve publishes an unlock rate for every achievement, and the distribution is the finding: three quarters of owners clear the tutorial, and the drop straight after it is a cliff. Bars are drawn to true scale, so the bottom of this list looks like almost nothing — because it is.

Bars are drawn to true scale against the whole player base. Below 1% that is under two pixels, so a 2px floor keeps the row visible — at this reading only Big Spender is below 1%, so its bar alone is not to scale and the figure beside it is. Everything at or above 1% is drawn true.

Ordering is this page’s, not Valve’s: the endpoints return the ten in unlock-rate order but publish no tier, rank or rarity grade. There is no official “rare” label in WARDOGS to report.

The order moves. Between the 15 September and 21 September readings nine of the ten rates rose, and two pairs swapped places: Fat Stacks passed “That was rude”, and Long Shot passed Top Dog. Anything on this page that reads like a ranking is a ranking on its reading date.

† The two official readings of Big Spender disagree, and both are printed here.

Valve’s GetGlobalAchievementPercentagesForApp returned 0.0 for ACH_ECONOMY_LOADOUT_SPEND. The Steam Community achievements page for the same app, read in the same minute, showed 0.1% for Big Spender. Every other row agreed to the decimal across both endpoints, on this reading and on the 15 September one before it.

This page carries the community page’s 0.1%because it is the higher-precision of the two displays, and records the API’s 0.0 rather than hiding it. The gap has survived two readings six days apart, which is harder to explain as a snapshot-timing artefact than a single occurrence was; no source states how either endpoint rounds, so this page still does not claim one is correct.

Three of the ten are cash achievements

Publisher stated

Fat Stacks wants $100,000 of net profit in one life, Top Dog wants the highest match earnings across all three teams, and Big Spender wants $100,000 committed to a single loadout. That is three of ten hanging on the economy, and it is why the rarest row on this list is a money row rather than a shooting row — Big Spender at 0.1%, an order of magnitude below the next rarest. What the achievement text does not say is how long any of that takes: no official source publishes an earnings rate, so this page states the thresholds and stops there.

What a global unlock rate is not

Unverified

A global unlock percentage counts every account that owns WARDOGS, including accounts that bought it and never launched it. That is the single most misread thing about these numbers: This is WARDOGS sitting at 77.2% does not mean a quarter of players failed the tutorial — some of that quarter has never started the game. It is also not a difficulty ranking. Clean Sweep at 2.7% needs nine other people to cooperate in a match you do not control; Long Shot at 7.6% needs one lucky sightline. Those two figures are close and the tasks are nothing alike. And it is a snapshot that moves: on 15 September this page expected the rates to drift down as new owners installed and diluted the denominator. Six days later nine of the ten had gone up instead — Ricochet 14.8 to 20.1, Clean Sweep 1.1 to 2.7 — so over this period existing owners unlocked faster than new owners diluted. That prediction is left on the record rather than quietly removed, because it is the clearest evidence on this page that a single reading cannot tell you which way a rate is heading.

Where the two official readings disagree

Publisher stated

Valve's percentages endpoint returned 0.0 for ACH_ECONOMY_LOADOUT_SPEND at 13:02 UTC on 21 September. Steam's own community achievements page, read in the same minute, showed 0.1% for the same achievement under its display name, Big Spender. Every other row agreed to the decimal across both endpoints. This page carries 0.1% because it is the higher-precision of the two displays and records the 0.0 rather than hiding it. The same gap appeared on 15 September, when the two endpoints were read four minutes apart; reproducing it six days later inside a single minute makes snapshot timing a weaker explanation than it was. No source states how either endpoint rounds, so neither reading is declared correct.

Two achievements want $100,000, and they are nothing alike

Publisher stated

The most-searched achievement question about this game is how to get the $100,000 one, and the question has two answers because Steam publishes two $100,000 achievements. Fat Stacks is a profit target inside one life; Big Spender is a spending target on one loadout. One is the best possible outcome of a run, the other is a decision you make at the vendor before the run starts — and they sit seven rows of rarity apart — 3rd most held against 10th. What no official source publishes is an earnings rate, so this page states each threshold and does not estimate how long either takes.

What Steam publishes for each of the named achievements

Publisher stated

Every condition below is Steam's own text for app 1867240, read 21 September 2026, with that day's unlock rate beside it. No method, route or strategy is published by BULKHEAD or Team17 for any of them — a search of all 51 ISteamNews posts for the word “achievement” returns zero — so this page gives the condition and the rate and stops. Anything further you read as a “guide” to one of these is somebody's inference, and may be a good one, but it is not sourced.

The one achievement Steam marks hidden

Publisher stated

Steam's app record marks exactly one of the ten highlighted achievements hidden: “That was rude” has hidden: 1; the other nine have hidden: 0. Valve's public community page still shows its name and unlock rate, but withholds the description. Its internal identifier is ACH_TUTORIAL_PUNCH_KRISTOPHER. This page prints the identifier because the source carries it and does not infer the unlock condition from it — an identifier is a developer's internal label, not a published requirement.

Do they unlock on community servers? What is and is not published

Unverified

Nothing official answers this, and it is worth saying exactly how nothing. Across all 51 posts BULKHEAD and Team17 have published through Steam's news endpoint, the word “achievement” appears zero times — checked 21 September 2026 — so there is no statement about achievements on community servers because there is no statement about achievements at all. What the same posts do establish is adjacent and useful: Patch 0.11 gave community servers a 5% End of Match cash bonus and told players “if you're looking to grind, we suggest jumping in a community server”. A studio applying a percentage bonus to End of Match cash on those servers establishes that the cash economy runs there — which matters, because three of these ten achievements are cash achievements. It does not establish that the Steam unlock fires, and no source connects the two. A 17 September thread asks BULKHEAD to give community-server hosts control over unlock parameters; that is a request, and this page does not read it as a description of current behaviour in either direction.

Are any of them hidden? What Steam actually publishes

Publisher stated

Yes — Steam's app record answers this directly. It marks “That was rude” hidden: 1 and each of the other nine hidden: 0. Steam's public achievement page still shows all ten to anybody, signed in or not, with a display name and unlock rate; the hidden row is the one whose description is withheld. That distinction matters: it is hidden in Steam's achievement metadata, not absent from the public list. There is no secret eleventh achievement — the same app record reports achievements.total 10. What remains unpublished is the unlock condition: its internal identifier is not a condition, and no BULKHEAD or Team17 post mentions achievements at all.

The questionWhat the sources support
Is there a hidden eleventh achievement? No. Steam's app record reports achievements.total 10 and the community page lists ten.
Does Steam mark one of the ten hidden?Yes. That was rude has hidden: 1; the other nine have hidden: 0.
Can you still see it in the public list?Yes. Steam shows its name and unlock rate while withholding its description.
Has anyone unlocked the undescribed one?Yes. 12.8% of owners held it on 21 September 2026, up from 12.1% on 15 September.
Does an official guide say how?No. Zero of BULKHEAD's 51 Steam news posts contain the word “achievement”, checked 21 September 2026.

Big Spender has its own page now

Unverified

The rarest row above is the one players ask how to do, and the answer is a build, not a sentence: one kit over $100,000 bought in a single purchase, with progression levels most players do not reach in a season. The dated player builds, the levels they report and the way to check a kit's total before paying are collected on one page.

The hidden achievement has its own page now

Publisher stated

Steam marks exactly one of the ten achievements hidden — “That was rude”. What that flag means, what Valve still shows in public, the dated unlock rate, and why this site will not invent the unlock condition from the internal identifier are collected on one page.

Common questions

How many achievements does WARDOGS have?

Ten. Steam's own app record for 1867240 reports achievements.total 10 and lists all ten on the community achievements page, read 21 September 2026.

What is the rarest WARDOGS achievement?

Big Spender — spend $100,000 on a single loadout — at 0.1% of owners on 21 September 2026, unchanged from the 15 September reading while every other rate rose. Valve's percentages endpoint returned 0.0 for the same achievement in the same minute; both readings are recorded on this page.

Why does “That was rude” have no description?

Because Steam marks it hidden. The app record gives “That was rude” hidden: 1 while the other nine are hidden: 0; the public community page shows its name and unlock rate but withholds its description. Steam still does not publish the unlock condition, and this page does not guess it from the internal identifier.

Will more achievements be added during Early Access?

No official source says. BULKHEAD's Early Access messaging warns against expecting regular content drops, but it does not mention achievements either way, so this page makes no prediction.

Do WARDOGS achievements pay out in-game cash?

Nothing official states that they do. No BULKHEAD or Team17 source found connects an achievement unlock to an in-game reward, and this page will not assume one.

How do you get Big Spender in WARDOGS?

Steam's condition is: spend $100,000 on a single loadout. It is the rarest achievement in the game at 0.1% of owners on 21 September 2026, and it is the only one of the ten whose rate did not move between the 15 and 21 September readings. No official source publishes a route to it, a cash-earning rate, or the prices of the items that would add up to $100,000, so this page gives the threshold and does not estimate how long reaching it takes.

How do you get Fat Stacks in WARDOGS?

Steam's condition is: reach $100,000 net profit in a single life. It is held by 16.1% of owners on 21 September 2026, the third most-held of the ten. Note that this is a different achievement from Big Spender, which also names $100,000 but wants it spent on one loadout rather than kept as profit. No official earnings rate is published, so neither achievement can be given a time estimate here.

How do you get Clean Sweep in WARDOGS?

Steam's condition is: win a match without another team scoring a point. Held by 2.7% of owners on 21 September 2026 — the second-rarest of the ten, and it more than doubled from 1.1% in the six days before that reading. It is the achievement on this list that depends least on your own play: it needs both other teams held at zero, which is a match outcome rather than a personal one.

How do you get Long Shot in WARDOGS?

Steam's condition is: get a kill from over 950m away. Held by 7.6% of owners on 21 September 2026, up from 3.8% six days earlier — the sharpest proportional rise of the ten. Steam publishes the distance and nothing else: no weapon, no map and no sight is named as required, and this page does not name one.

How do you get CZ Survivor in WARDOGS?

Steam's condition is: spend 60 minutes in the CZ without dying. Held by 4.8% of owners on 21 September 2026. Steam does not say whether the 60 minutes must be one continuous stay, whether it may span matches, or how the timer treats leaving and re-entering the zone, so this page reports the condition as written and answers none of those.

Do WARDOGS achievements unlock on community servers?

No official source says either way. The word “achievement” appears zero times across all 51 posts BULKHEAD and Team17 have published through Steam's news endpoint, checked 21 September 2026. What is established is narrower: Patch 0.11 gave community servers a 5% End of Match cash bonus and BULKHEAD told players to jump in a community server if they were looking to grind, so the cash economy demonstrably runs there — and three of the ten achievements are cash achievements. Whether the Steam unlock itself fires on a community server is not stated anywhere this site can find, and is not assumed here.

Does WARDOGS have hidden or secret achievements?

Yes. Steam's app record marks exactly one achievement hidden: “That was rude” has hidden: 1 and the other nine have hidden: 0, read 21 September 2026. It is still visible by name and unlock rate on the public achievement page, but its description is withheld. There is no secret eleventh achievement — Steam reports ten total and lists ten — and the hidden achievement's unlock condition is not published.

What is the hidden achievement in WARDOGS?

“That was rude.” Steam's app record marks it hidden: 1 while the other nine are hidden: 0. The public achievement page still shows its name and says 12.8% of owners held it on 21 September 2026, but withholds its description. Its requirement is not published anywhere this site can find, including in all 51 of BULKHEAD's Steam news posts; ACH_TUTORIAL_PUNCH_KRISTOPHER is an internal identifier, not an unlock condition.

Is there an official WARDOGS achievement guide?

No. A search of all 51 posts BULKHEAD and Team17 have published through Steam's news endpoint for app 1867240 returns zero occurrences of the word “achievement”, checked 21 September 2026. Steam's own achievement page supplies a condition and an unlock rate for each of the ten and nothing more; everything beyond that in circulation is player inference.

What loadout do you need for Big Spender in WARDOGS?

One kit costing $100,000 or more, bought in a single purchase. Player builds that clear it stack three AMR 50s, a Deagle, an MGL-40, top armour and a backpack of first-aid kits. The builds, the levels they need and how to check the total are on the Big Spender page.

Sources & verification

Unlock rates and internal identifiers come from Valve's global achievement percentages endpoint; display names and description text come from Steam's own community achievements page for the same app. Both were read on 21 September 2026 and retain their timestamps; the 15 September reading they replace is kept alongside them, because the movement between the two is itself a finding. No third-party achievement tracker was used.

Steam · WARDOGS store app record, categories and requirementsReports achievements.total 10 and marks exactly one highlighted achievement as hidden: That was rude has hidden: 1 while the other nine have hidden: 0. It also states 50 GB minimum storage, unchanged. Steam Achievements is among the app's categories; Family Sharing is not. The same endpoint listed Family Sharing on 15 and 17 September 2026 and does not on 19–21 September, and the served store page agrees — the before-and-after reads are logged in RESEARCH.md. BULKHEAD's official updates account separately says the feature was disabled because accounts were using it to bypass bans and cheat; that statement is cited on the affected pages rather than inferred from this store record.Publisher stated2026-09-21

Steam · “Community Servers w/ all unlocks, only cash required?”, WARDOGS discussions, 17 September 2026Opened 2026-09-17 15:35 UTC. A feature request, not a report: the OP asks BULKHEAD to “allow community servers the tools needed to change those parameters” so that unlocks persist and only cash is required. It is cited here for one thing only — that as of 17 September a player was asking for controls of that kind, which is not the same as establishing that they do or do not exist. Nothing in the thread describes observed behaviour, and no reply from BULKHEAD appears in it.Unverified2026-09-21
