How to revive and play Medic in WARDOGS

How to revive in WARDOGS, the nine medical items with prices and Medic unlock levels, what a revive pays, and why reviving the same player pays less.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Walk up to a downed teammate and interact (F by default) to revive them; a Field Resuscitator, Defibrillator or Medical Bag makes it faster, and everyone carries one free Emergency Resuscitator per life. BULKHEAD says reviving pays cash but has published no amount. A fan extraction of the game files, dated before launch, gives $400 per revive — $800 in the Control Zone and $1,600 in the Hot Zone — plus 200 Medic XP.

How a revive works

Unverified

A teammate who goes down is not dead yet: they can be revived until they bleed out or give up. Reach them and use interact — F by default on PC. Three of the medical items say in their in-game text that they revive teammates faster, which implies a slower revive without one. Downed bodies can be dragged into cover first; players warn that a second medic grabbing the same body mid-heal drags it away and restarts the heal (12 September).

  1. 01

    Get to the body

Drag it out of the line of fire if you can. The body, not you, is what counts as being in the zone.

  2. 02

    Interact to revive

F on PC. Carry a resuscitator or the Medical Bag to make it faster.

  3. 03

    Heal them up

Bandages, the First Aid Kit or the Medical Bag; Enox gives decaying extra health.

The Medic kit: nine items

From the game-file extraction, read 6 October. Price is per life; the unlock is the Medic level and one-time payment where the files record one. The quoted text is the game’s own item description.

What a revive pays

Unverified

BULKHEAD’s store page says every teamplay action rewards cash, naming “reviving squadmates” first, but it has never published an amount. The only figures are the wardogs.zone Field Manual’s, dated 7 September, before launch:

  • Revive: $400 in the open, $800 in the Control Zone, $1,600 in the Hot Zone — scored where the downed player is lying.
  • Defibrillator revive: $600, $1,200 and $2,400 across the same three.
  • Reviving the same player again pays about a quarter less each time.
  • XP: 200 Medic XP per revive, 250 with a defibrillator, 80 per bandage.
  • Every payout scales with the server’s player count: nothing under 10 players, full rate from 60.

Why a revive is worth more than a kill nearby

Unverified

Two rules in the same manual make the medic matter. When a team revives a player you downed, your kill keeps one percent of its value — so a medic reaching the body all but cancels the enemy’s payout. And a revive puts a whole player back on the zone tick count. That is consistent with what BULKHEAD’s launch-weekend totals show players actually did: 60.7 million revives and 27.7 million heals over the launch weekend.

What BULKHEAD has changed

Publisher stated

Update 0.1.2 on 30 September made “revive action validity checks” fully server-side, to stop revives being abused for cash and XP across the map. The Season 02 preview of 9 October promises “additional rewards for teamplay and logistics” without numbers. And one achievement belongs to medics in reverse: Do Not Resuscitate, for killing an enemy with the defibrillator charge, held by 4.1% of owners.

Common questions

How do you revive in WARDOGS?

Go to a downed teammate and interact — F by default on PC. A Field Resuscitator, Defibrillator or Medical Bag revives faster, and everyone gets one free Emergency Resuscitator per life.

How much does a revive pay in WARDOGS?

BULKHEAD has not said. A fan extraction of the game files, dated before launch, gives $400 in the open, $800 in the Control Zone and $1,600 in the Hot Zone, more with a defibrillator.

How do you unlock the defibrillator in WARDOGS?

The game files put it at Medic level 11 with a $50,000 unlock payment, then $1,600 per life. It needs a battery to charge.

Is there a medic class in WARDOGS?

Not a class you pick. Medic is a role track that levels from using medical items and SMGs, and its levels unlock the better medical kit.

Why do I get less for reviving the same teammate?

The game-file manual says each repeat revive of the same player pays about a quarter less than the one before.

That reviving pays is BULKHEAD’s store copy; the launch-weekend totals are BULKHEAD’s. Item prices, unlocks and in-game text are wardogs.zone’s game-file extraction, read 6 October 2026. Payout figures are its Field Manual, dated 7 September — before launch — and BULKHEAD has published none of them. This site has not measured revive pay in the released build.
