Which WARDOGS channels are official?

Why this page exists at all

Discord, Reddit and X are the three places people go looking for a game's developer, and only two of the three lead anywhere BULKHEAD actually posts. No page in this niche says which. That is the useful content here: not a link dump, but a boundary. It is also the only real defence against the other thing that fills these results — free-key sites, drop generators and lookalike login pages — because a destination that is not on the developer's own list is, by definition, not the developer.

The five in the store listing, and what each is actually for

These are the five in the channel row of BULKHEAD's Steam page, in the order the page lists them. They are not equivalent. Discord is where the studio has historically posted first during test weekends and where outages get acknowledged; X carries the announcements and the studio's own release line; the other three are promotional. If you are picking one to follow for build information, it is Discord — with the Steam announcement feed beside it, which is where anything important ends up in writing.

The wardogs.com properties, and which one asks you to log in

Three subdomains do different jobs and only one of them wants credentials. wardogs.com is the game's site. community.wardogs.com is the playtest signup portal, run on Firstlook — that is where playtest registration happened, and an invitation arrives by email rather than being claimable on the page. account.wardogs.com is the Player Dashboard, and it is the address the @WARDOGS account itself named as the place to link Steam and Twitch for Drops. That last one is worth memorising: it is the only page in this game's orbit that legitimately asks you to connect accounts, so any other site asking for the same thing is not it.

Reddit: real community, not a developer channel

There is no subreddit in the store listing's channel row and none linked from any BULKHEAD announcement we can find. That is not a criticism of the player communities on Reddit — they are often the fastest place to see whether a problem is yours or everyone's, and beta-era reports there are the source for several things nobody official has documented. But a Reddit thread is not an announcement, a moderator is not a developer, and “the devs said on Reddit” is a claim that needs a link to somewhere on the list above before it is worth anything. The same goes for YouTube: Team17 publishes trailers there, and no WARDOGS channel is among the five, so this page does not crown one.

How to check a link without trusting us either

The checker above compares a host against the published list and nothing else, which is a deliberately small claim. Do the same by hand in ten seconds: open the Steam store page, look at the channel row in the right-hand column, and see whether the address you were sent matches one of the five. Read the domain itself rather than the link text — a lookalike passes every automated check and fails a careful reading. And treat the direction of travel as the tell: BULKHEAD's channels send you to Steam to buy the game. Nothing on the list gives keys away, runs a giveaway that needs your Steam login, or asks for a payment method to “verify” a drop.

wardogsgame.net is a fan site. It is not on that list and should not be.
