Is WARDOGS coming to console?

What you can play on today

Windows, via Steam. The store page lists Windows and nothing else — no macOS, no Linux, no console. That is the whole confirmed platform list for the Early Access launch on September 10, 2026.

What BULKHEAD has said about console

The studio has said in interviews and community answers that it wants to bring WARDOGS to Xbox and PlayStation, and that console is the plan. We have found no official post that names a platform, a storefront, a beta or a window. An intention stated on camera is worth knowing about; it is not a release.

The 1.0 theory is a theory

A common claim is that console arrives with version 1.0. Nothing published ties the two together. BULKHEAD's Steam FAQ says Early Access will run "around 1 to 2 years" and that the full version will be "broader and more polished" — it says nothing about platforms. If a page states the console date as settled, ask it which announcement said so.

Crossplay

With one platform there is nothing to cross. No crossplay or cross-progression policy has been published, and none can be meaningful until a second platform exists.

Controller on PC

Separate from console: BULKHEAD's own pre-order announcement confirms the devlog covers "gamepad support", and partial gamepad support with a small amount of aim assist is widely reported from that video. Keyboard and mouse is the intended input. We have not found the detail in official text.
