LAUNCH STATS

What happened during the Early Access launch weekend?

Every official WARDOGS launch-weekend total: cash, kills, revives, heals, spotting, tower captures, tips, dropoffs and the six-role XP split.

THE QUICK ANSWER

A BULKHEAD and Team17 press release says that from 17:00 on 10 September to 05:00 on 14 September — with no timezone stated — players earned $1.28T, spent $561.9B, made 122.2M kills and recorded 60.7M revives. These are aggregate totals, not current counters, per-player rates or payout values.

The official graphic rounds ten totals

Publisher stated

These are the labels and values printed in the studio’s graphic. M, B and T are retained exactly as published. The later publisher release adds a clock range, but neither source supplies player or match counts, so none of these totals can be divided into a per-player or per-match rate.

The publisher release adds a clock range and precise telemetry

Publisher stated

BULKHEAD and Team17’s release says the dataset runs from 17:00 on 10 September to 05:00 on 14 September, but does not name the timezone. Its metric labels are not always the graphic’s labels: 86.1M headshots is not silently substituted for 33M headshot kills, and 212.8M spots is not substituted for 65M spotted-target kills.

Earned XP was spread across all six roles

Publisher stated

The graphic says WARDOGS awards role XP based on item usage, not fixed classes. The press release gives two-decimal shares and calls its 20.54% role Assault; the graphic calls the rounded 20% role Infantry. That naming difference is preserved here. Support has the largest reported share and Pilot the smallest, but the distribution does not establish any role’s per-action XP rate or popularity.

What the snapshot does not measure

Publisher stated

The sources supply aggregate event totals, not a live dashboard. The publisher release gives a start and end clock time without a timezone, and neither source gives a player count, match count, average, median, per-action cash or XP reward, regional split or later-current value. A total of 60.7M revives therefore does not reveal how much one revive pays or how often one player revived another.

Why the categories matter

Publisher stated

The studio chose to publish support and objective actions beside kills: revives, heals, spotted-target kills, tower captures, tips and dropoffs. That corroborates its broader description of a reward system built around teamplay, while still leaving the value of any one action unpublished.

This table is not a levelling guide

Publisher stated

The six-role split gets quoted as a ranking of which role levels fastest, and it is not one. It measures what players collectively did over one weekend — a role's share can be large because more people played it, or because its equipment is cheaper to keep using, not because it pays more per action. No per-action XP rate is published anywhere in either source. The role page sets out what the mechanism actually is and which unlock levels are on record.

Common questions

Are these live WARDOGS counters?

No. They are aggregate totals in an official graphic labelled “Stats from Early Access launch weekend”, published on 15 September 2026.

Which role earned the most XP during the launch weekend?

Support, at 21.42% in the publisher release and 21% in the graphic. Neither source says Support has the highest per-action XP rate or the most players.

Does $1.28T earned reveal the best way to make cash?

No. The release gives an aggregate total and clock range without per-action payouts, match count, player count or a stated timezone.

How many tower captures and dropoffs were recorded?

The publisher release reports 4.6M tower caps and 51.1M drop-offs; the official graphic rounds them to 5M and 52M.

BULKHEAD / Team17 · launch-weekend press release, republished by DLH.NET, 15 September 2026The verbatim publisher release says its telemetry covers 17:00 on 10 September through 05:00 on 14 September, without naming a timezone. It gives more precise cash, activity and role-XP figures than the official graphic. It calls the 20.54% role Assault while the graphic calls the rounded 20% role Infantry, so both labels are preserved rather than silently normalised.
