VEHICLES

Moving your squad and supplies.

What the developer has said about vehicles, what is visible in official footage, and the entire vehicle roster that nobody has published.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Vehicles are bought with the same cash as everything else, and transporting teammates to the Control Zone is one of the actions BULKHEAD names as paid. Helicopters, tanks and artillery all appear in official media. BULKHEAD itself has named one vehicle, the Littlebird, and priced none — a beta guide separately puts a Mi-28 Havoc at $500,000, graded observed and disclaimed by its own source, not official.

A vehicle is a purchase, not a pickup

Publisher stated

Vehicles sit in the same buy menu as weapons and gear, bought from your current cash balance. Your journey starts with $10,000; that balance is not replenished at each respawn. That single design decision is what makes the logistics role real: a helicopter is somebody’s money, and losing it costs them, so a pilot who ferries a full squad to the zone is spending on the team’s behalf rather than picking up a free toy.

Transport is one of the paid actions

Publisher stated

BULKHEAD names transporting friendlies to the zone alongside reviving and holding the objective as actions that reward cash. Its wider description lists transport and logistics as roles in their own right, next to combat ones. So driving is not a supporting hobby in this game’s reward structure — it is one of the named ways to earn.

What is actually visible in official footage

Confirmed

Across the published screenshots and trailers: light helicopters carrying troops on the skids, a helicopter cockpit with a working instrument panel, a door gunner on a minigun, wheeled armoured transports, a main battle tank, and towed or self-propelled artillery. The store copy adds the categories in words — tanks, helicopters, an artillery tank — and describes ferrying supplies to teammates by helicopter as a way to play.

  • Light transport helicopter, troops seated on the skids
  • Helicopter cockpit with instrumentation — a flyable aircraft, not a set piece
  • Door-gunner position on a minigun
  • Wheeled armoured transport
  • Main battle tank
  • Artillery, described in the store copy as an artillery tank

The flight model is claimed, not shown

Unverified

BULKHEAD has said publicly that WARDOGS uses real-world ballistics, audio and flight models. That is a claim about fidelity, and it is the studio’s own — but a claim of realism is not a control scheme. Nothing has been published about how a helicopter is actually flown here: no keybinds, no mouse-versus-stick behaviour, no autohover, no HOTAS support statement. Anyone publishing a WARDOGS helicopter control guide today is describing a build they have not documented.

The roster is empty and will stay empty until it is not

Unverified

BULKHEAD has published one vehicle name, the Littlebird, and no price, speed, armour value or seat count for it or for anything else. A beta guide fills in three more names — the Mi-28 Havoc, the Huey and a since-removed Flakpanzer — with a beta price and unlock level for the Havoc alone; treat every one of those figures as a beta report, not a launch fact. A vehicle count circulates from a devlog video and appears in no official text, so we do not print a total either. Our vehicles table has four rows now, and no confidence higher than a beta observation for three of them, which is the honest state of the question today.

Before you fly anyone anywhere

Unverified

Editorial preparation. Agree the destination before people board — an aircraft full of players who each expected a different drop is worse than no aircraft. Think about where passengers regroup if you go down on the way, because in a mode scored by presence in the zone, a squad scattered short of it has cost more than the vehicle did.

Common questions

Can you fly helicopters in WARDOGS?

Yes. Official footage shows a flyable cockpit with a working instrument panel, and the store copy describes ferrying supplies to teammates by helicopter.

What vehicles are in the game?

By category: helicopters, wheeled armoured transports, tanks and artillery. By name: BULKHEAD has published one, the Littlebird; a beta guide separately names a Mi-28 Havoc, a Huey and a Flakpanzer, the last reported removed from the game entirely.

How much does a vehicle cost?

BULKHEAD hasn't published one. Vehicles are bought from your cash, but the studio has priced nothing. A beta guide records a Mi-28 Havoc helicopter at $500,000 in our database — graded observed, not official, and its unlock level is disputed between two articles from the same outlet — while the officially named Littlebird still has no published price at all.

Is there HOTAS or joystick support?

No official statement either way. The studio has claimed a real-world flight model; it has not described the input options.

Sources & verification

Vehicle categories come from BULKHEAD’s own copy and its published footage. BULKHEAD names only the Littlebird itself and has published no vehicle price or handling figure — the Havoc’s price below is a beta guide’s observed figure, disclaimed by its own source, not official.

What a $500,000 helicopter means for your wallet

One vehicle name is BULKHEAD's own. The price beside it is a beta report, not a launch fact — here is where that comes from and what it costs to plan around.

You are here

You have just read that the officially named Littlebird has no published price, while a beta guide puts a Mi-28 Havoc at $500,000

  1. Read the full vehicle record and where it disagrees with itselfTwo articles from the outlet that reported the Havoc's price disagree on its unlock level — Pilot Level 35, or "around level 40" — reason enough to treat every beta figure on that page as provisional.
  2. See how a six-figure purchase fits the cash rulesThe rule making a $500,000 purchase plannable at all is BULKHEAD's own: cash persists between matches rather than resetting, so a good helicopter buy compounds instead of vanishing at the next spawn.
  3. Find the helicopter controls the menu hidesThe mouse axes are under Settings rather than Keybindings, which is the single thing most new pilots are stuck on.
