BULKHEAD plans to take the whole of December off
In an Edge interview published by GamesRadar, BULKHEAD CEO Joe Brammer says the entire studio will take December off after the WARDOGS Early Access push, describing the month as time for the team to “detox”.
This is a staffing plan, not a server-shutdown notice. The interview gives no details about official-server operation, emergency hotfixes, moderation, account support or an exact January return date. None of those gaps should be filled by assumption.

BULKHEAD Community Manager Brian McCrann says the team will not publish the promised devlog this week. He says the studio is making “big moves” and wants to get the information right before committing it to camera.
No replacement date is given. The notice does not cancel or move the separately published 12 November Season 3 date, and it adds no patch notes, maintenance window, reset hour or new feature details.

GG Host and 1of1 Servers join QONZER, BisectHosting and xREALM on BULKHEAD’s published list of approved community-server hosting partners.
The studio says community servers remain in Early Access and that more features to support server admins will be announced. It gives no feature list, delivery date, common price, region coverage, slot capacity or approval terms.

A Steam review response by brammflakes, marked [developer], says Season 3 has been brought forward to 12 November “to give everyone a proper fresh start”. It also says Season 3 brings Limited Mode servers with no power weapons and no vehicles.
No maintenance window, exact reset time, patch notes or complete Limited Mode rules are published. THE HOTZONE separately says Season 02 will run four to five weeks, but its longer-term three-month cadence is still a plan rather than a fixed schedule.

BULKHEAD says it has begun controlling regions and will reduce the maximum server ping to 175 over the hours following its announcement. Backend region locking is still described as in progress, with stricter limits on cross-region mixing to follow.
The studio links the decision to cheating and says it is prioritising the largest group of players. It does not name affected regions, server categories, an exact completion time or an exception for cross-region parties; the rollout notice is not proof that every server already applies the same limit.

BULKHEAD says its deliberate progression speed-up was the wrong call after some players reached Tier 4 armour and main battle tanks within days, making the reset feel less like a fresh start.
The studio ruled out a knee-jerk reset that weekend and said it was considering bringing Season 3 forward. A later developer response now dates Season 3 for 12 November; no revised XP table or reset hour is published.

BULKHEAD’s full preview keeps the 15 October date and names the TCX Spear, M14, PP-19 Bizon and Evo-3 Ultra; the Wolf-110, armed Wolf-110, T-72 and Flakpanzer Gepard; a Molotov; and three buildables. The experimental Wager Vendor lets players stake cash on self-selected objectives and may be withdrawn during the season if it proves exploitable.
Rain changes visibility, engagement ranges and sound; synchronised thunder can mask footsteps. After launch, WARDOGS Updates clarified that rain is selected at random on map change and said it should appear across all regions within 24 hours of its 10:22 UTC post. That is a rollout expectation, not a guarantee for any particular match. The separate 20% vendor discount for a team at least 40 points behind second place remains in the patch notes; BULKHEAD said at 20:58 UTC that it was removing Lonestar’s separate cash and XP experiment.
That was the preview. The full patch notes followed at 14:59 UTC on 14 October. On 15 October, maintenance began at 08:00 UTC, overran the scheduled 09:30 finish, and received a back-online notice at 10:00 UTC. Season 02 is live; no patch number is given.

The official 53-minute video is the complete Top 100 reel. BULKHEAD says 99 featured entrants receive $100,000 in-game cash and one receives the $100,000 real-cash grand prize; its closing says the winners will be contacted shortly.
The official post, video description and spoken transcript do not provide a text roster of winner account names. This site therefore records the result and links the complete reel without trying to transcribe names from fast-moving on-screen overlays.

BULKHEAD says Update 0.1.2 fixes the WD-L020 crash caused by Windows 11 preview update KB5124010. This supersedes the 23 September advice to wait for a studio fix.
The patch does not say that every older WD-L020 report had the same cause, and it publishes no client build number. Install the current Steam update before considering the older, optional Windows rollback.

WARDOGS Updates scheduled services offline from 11:00 UTC for around one hour while a small number of security updates were deployed. At 11:42 UTC, the account said services were coming back online.
No patch number, client download, security detail or affected-platform list was published. “Coming back online” records staged recovery at that moment; it is not a continuous uptime guarantee and does not explicitly close the separate 24 September regional disruption notice.

WARDOGS Updates said services were experiencing network disruption in non-EU regions, primarily North America. It warned that players might see connection issues while the team worked to mitigate it.
The notice gives no cause, affected component, workaround or recovery time. No dedicated resolution was visible at the 25 September 00:46 UTC check. A separate maintenance window completed later on 25 September; its recovery post does not say whether it closes this regional incident.

At 09:18 UTC, WARDOGS Updates said an incorrect build pushed that morning had affected a small number of players. Its incident instruction for anyone still in the queue was to close the game and redownload it through Steam; the stated download was approximately 16 GB.
At 09:29 UTC, the account marked the incident resolved. No build number or change list was published. The 16 GB figure is therefore incident guidance, not a normal patch size or a new storage requirement, and this resolution does not close the separate WD-L020 investigation.

WARDOGS has sold three million copies
BULKHEAD says WARDOGS sold three million copies in just over two weeks after its 10 September Steam Early Access launch. This is copies sold, not a current-player count, all-time concurrency peak or server-capacity figure.
The same announcement says WARDOGS is nominated for Best Early Access Game 2026 at the community-voted Golden Joystick Awards, and promises more Season 02 information next week without giving an exact date.

Launch week: sales reached 1.5 million
BULKHEAD first announced 1.25 million copies sold at 01:05 UTC on 11 September, then reported 1.5 million in its 22:30 UTC launch recap. These are sales figures; neither measures simultaneous players or successful logins.
