Restart and download the client update

BULKHEAD published this hotfix notice at 20:20:33 UTC on 10 September, or 04:20:33 SGT on 11 September. Its instruction was to restart the game, download the update and return to the queue.

  1. Exit WARDOGS and let Steam download the available update.
  2. Relaunch once the download completes.
  3. Rejoin the queue; the announcement described controlled admission batches.

What the studio was addressing

The notice targets failed server joins, being kicked during play and long queues. BULKHEAD said it would increase admissions as servers populated successfully and continue working through the night.

The notice did not publish a numbered client build or a region-by-region resolution. A released hotfix is not proof every server is healthy.

What followed

At 01:05 UTC on 11 September, the studio announced 1.25 million sales while continuing to apologise for delays and monitor servers. Its later launch recap raised the sales figure to 1.5 million and said the queue reached zero during the launch response.
