Season 2 backend update: blue bonus and Driver XP
BULKHEAD says it is removing the blue-team 5% cash / 2.5% XP modifiers, temporarily slowing the over-fast Driver track, and fixing a Driver exploit. Limited Mode servers without power weapons or vehicles are announced for later, not live in this backend update.

BULKHEAD says the experiment pulled progression-focused players onto Lonestar, made blue win disproportionately often and interfered with matches filling. The studio’s video identifies the modifiers as 5% cash and 2.5% XP; the original 14 October notes announced bonuses but published no values.
This is separate from the 20% vendor discount in the Season 02 patch notes, which applies to any team at least 40 points behind second place. BULKHEAD’s backend-update post does not say that trailing-team rule is being removed.
The three factions and the corrected Lonestar record →A temporary backend correction slows the over-fast Driver track
BULKHEAD says its first-day Season 02 data put Driver progression around 40–50% ahead of the other role tracks. The video attributes that gap to the logistics streak setup and an exploit, rather than reversing the lower XP requirements for every role in the 14 October notes.
The studio says a temporary fix was already live while recording: streak spacing moves back toward Season 1. It hopes to raise it again in a later hotfix after correcting the exploit. No replacement streak table, client build, download, downtime or completion timestamp is published.
How the six role tracks now differ →Current progression and unlocks →Extreme repeated abuse can bring a 24-hour temporary ban
BULKHEAD describes obvious repetition of the same logistics action — its spoken example contrasts ordinary crate deliveries with repeatedly leaving and re-entering the zone — and says the clearest cases will receive a 24-hour temporary ban. The video publishes no detection threshold, complete reproduction steps, account list or appeal outcome, so this page does not turn its examples into a rule for borderline play.
Official enforcement and appeal sources →Limited Mode servers will remove power weapons and vehicles
The social post calls these Limited Mode servers. In the video the working name is “Prim servers”: a replacement for Low-Level servers that preserves an early-to-mid-game equipment ceiling even after a player has progressed. BULKHEAD names level-four armour, heavy tanks and artillery as examples of equipment it may cap out, not as a final exhaustive ruleset.
The video targets a mid-season update it calls “0.25” around late October or early November. That wording is a plan, not a released mode, final name, complete exclusion list or fixed launch date.
Official, Community and special server choices →Published scope
- BULKHEAD says it is removing the Lonestar/blue-team cash and XP bonus after the experiment pulled progression-focused players onto blue and disrupted team formation.
- The accompanying video identifies the removed modifiers as 5% cash and 2.5% XP. Those values were never printed in the 14 October patch notes.
- Driver progression had run around 40–50% faster than the other role tracks in the studio’s launch-day data. A temporary backend fix moves the logistics streak spacing back toward Season 1 while BULKHEAD prepares a further hotfix.
- BULKHEAD says a repeatedly abused Driver exploit is being fixed and that clear, extreme repetition can bring a 24-hour temporary ban. It publishes no detection threshold or complete action-by-action rule.
- Limited Mode servers with power weapons and vehicles removed are coming later. In the video the working name is “Prim servers”; the stated target is a mid-season “0.25” update around late October or early November, not a released feature or fixed date.
